Electrical Engineer

We are looking to hire a talented electrical / electronics engineer to help bring cost-effective energy generation to off-grid locations worldwide.

As the electrical engineer, you will work closely with a small, friendly team of multi-disciplined engineers, senior engineers and the engineering manager. Your duties will include: -

• Gaining an understanding of companies control and electrical system designs
• Developing, configuring, and integrating electrical equipment including power management, charging, battery storage systems and PLC controls
• Optimising, laying out, and modularisation of parts and assemblies to improve product adaptability and function
• Assisting in the generation and maintenance of product documentation: functional specifications, electrical drawings, manuals, project technical files, training and health & safety documentation

To apply for the electrical engineer, you will require: -

• Formal qualifications in electrical / electronics engineering, ideally a degree
• Proven experience in electrical design, development and integration
• Ideally experience of high power switching circuits, electrical charging, battery storage and PLCs
• The wiliness to travel abroad two to three times a year, for up to one week at a time

In return, the electrical engineer will receive a salary between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, a company pension contribution of 10%, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and access to a healthcare plan.
