JOB TITLE: IT Field Service Engineer
JOB SUMMARY: To operate as the IT Manager for 10 to 15 clients, delivering technical support and fixes, alongside planning and implementing the optimum use of technology for their business. Our Client offers an environment where people are developed, valued and rewarded, and have some fun along the way.
SALARY: £28,000 - 35,000
MUST HAVES: Experience in IT support and MCP (Microsoft) qualifications

Our Client is are a Fast-growing company providing IT support to businesses, they have a network of local IT support offices staffed by experienced business and technical specialists. Our Client utilises the best technologies, they are Microsoft Gold Partners and experts in technologies such as Office 365. They offer a proactive and bespoke service that includes a mix of onsite visits and unlimited helpdesk support that give users the help they need; whether it's fully outsourced IT support or supplementary help for an in-house team
What you will do as Technical Consultant is partner with each of your clients as either their IT manager or alongside their IT manager, which will enable you to:
*Build trusted adviser relationships
*Offer Technical input and guidance
*Install all the latest technologies
*Delivering technical support
*Carry out preventative checks and maintenance to ensure optimum performance of the client's systems.
*Building and developing relationships with the client
*Grow the use of products and services
*Analyse technical issues with the client at regular meetings in order to make recommendations to improve future performance
*Create an IT road map and review it on each site visits.
Our client is looking for a technical consultant that has a track record in IT support, including some time in a field technical support role.
The ideal candidate with have qualification in:
*Minimum 3 MCP qualifications
*Installation and support of Microsoft server hardware and software
*Installation and support of Antivirus and backups
*Office 365 experience
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of installing, managing, troubleshooting
*Minimum 4 years' experience in IT support
*Good project management skills
*Basic networking skills
*Can build a PC and a server
*Business case / proposal preparation and report writing
*Technically competent across multiple platforms/environments
